Healthy Eating
This past week, for lunch I have had nothing but fruit and a turkey sandwich. The past couple of weeks, I had been eating Pb&j sandwich and a side snack that always contain chocolate in it whether it was a chocolate chip granola bar, a nutty butty or a brownie. So this week I switched it up for lunch and dinner. I didn't go out any this past week and I just had vegetables and fish for dinners and turkey sandwich and fruits for lunch. This was a healthy week for me since I didn't go out to eat or drink sodas but I did notice that during the week I felt weak since I had not been eating a Pb&j sandwich for lunch. Mr. Dickson, our creative writing teacher, told us about a something about if students at lunch would eat a Pb&j sandwich instead a meat based meal then students would be healthier and have more energy and protein from the peanuts. This week showed me that Pb&j sandwiches does give me energy and it fills me up. So the whole point of this story was to say that Pb&j is an easy at home to do sandwich and it great for ya and this goes with eating at home so eating at home gets another point when it comes to eating an all-American kid sandwich or going out to a fast food place to get a high-salt or low-protein sandwich or burger!!!
