Grocery Chain Scams Shoppers

This week, I found this story to be a con about grocery chain stores. This story is about a chain of grocery stores that has the title, “Grocery Shoppers Scammed by Rogue Terminals”. The story is short and sweet but it explains how the Aldi Inc. has issued a statement that customers across eleven states may be victims of fraud and identity theft due to rogue point-of-sale credit card terminals planted by unknown thieves throughout Aldi stores. The company believes that the illegal card readers have been removed from stores. There are a couple of locations in Alabama but no fraud accusations have been reported. So, basically some person came in and put illegal credit card machines on the registers to steal people's identity. That's a big con of grocery chain stores. Are they busy to check the machines that come into their establishments? The next time you go into a grocery store, you might want to pay cash. The site to read the story is http://mocana.com/blog/2010/10/12/grocery-shoppers-scammed-by-rogue-card-terminals/.
