Types of Diabetes
This week I’ve gone into research about the difference between Type 1 diabetes and Type 2 diabetes. Type 1 seems to be where the body destroys all the insulin in it. This causes people with it to have to give themselves shots of insulin regularly every single day. This also means they are on a strict diet. This type of diabetes is known as juvenile-onset diabetes because the people with this type of diabetes are usually under 40. Type 2, or late-onset diabetes, is the most common type of diabetes. This type is usually caused by genetic s or a lack of nutrition and exercise. It can be treated in many ways, in which you must change your diet and exercise plans. You may also have to take insulin shots. It seems like both of these types require major life changes. It should be interesting to see how people adjust themselves to it.
